Refund & Return Policy

Altay Studio creates made-to-order custom apparel. Each item is printed specifically for your order and enters production only after artwork approval.

By placing an order with Altay Studio, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Quality Guarantee

If your item arrives defective, misprinted, or damaged, we'll make it right.

You must contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. Once verified, we will reprint the item at no cost or issue a refund if a replacement is not possible.

100% Refund Before Production (No Questions Asked)

Before production begins, customers may request a 100% refund with no questions asked.

Production begins only after artwork approval.

Artwork Approval & Production Authorization

Before printing, customers receive an artwork preview for review.

Once artwork is approved, the approval serves as explicit authorization to begin production.

After artwork approval:

  • Production begins
  • Orders become final
  • Cancellations are no longer possible

By approving artwork, customers confirm that spelling, placement, sizing, and design details are correct.

Artwork approval constitutes customer consent to produce a custom product under this policy.

What IS Considered a Defect

  • Incorrect print placement compared to approved artwork
  • Major print flaws present on arrival
  • Wrong garment or size sent
  • Damage during shipping

What is NOT Considered a Defect

  • Incorrect size selection by the customer
  • Color variations due to screen calibration, lighting, or fabric texture
  • Minor alignment variations (±0.5")
  • Errors in customer-submitted artwork
  • Buyer's remorse or changes requested after approval

Sizing Responsibility

Size charts are provided for every garment. Customers are responsible for selecting the correct size.

Returns or refunds are not available for sizing issues once production begins.

Color Disclaimer

Colors may vary slightly between digital previews and the final printed product due to monitor calibration, lighting, and fabric characteristics. This is normal and not considered a defect.

How to Request a Replacement or Refund

Email contact@altaystudio.store and include:

  1. Order number
  2. Clear photos of the issue
  3. A brief description

Requests without sufficient photo documentation may be delayed or denied.

All requests are reviewed within 24 hours.

Refunds & Replacements

  • Replacements are our default resolution
  • Refunds are issued only when a replacement is not possible
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method

Shipping & Delivery Responsibility

Altay Studio is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect delivery addresses provided at checkout
  • Packages marked as delivered by the carrier but lost or stolen afterward

We will assist with carrier claims when possible.

Chargebacks & Dispute Resolution

Customers agree to contact Altay Studio directly before filing a chargeback or payment dispute.

Unauthorized chargebacks may delay resolution and may result in restriction of future purchases.

Limitation of Liability

Altay Studio's liability is limited to the amount paid for the original order. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of North Carolina.
